You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. This is commonly known as a Subject Access Request (SAR). We will respond to valid requests within one month.
Right to Rectification
If you believe any personal data we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request correction. We will respond to rectification requests within one month.
Right to Erasure
Also known as the "right to be forgotten", you may request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when the data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected, or you withdraw consent.
Right to Restrict Processing
You have the right to request that we limit how we use your personal data in certain circumstances, such as while we verify the accuracy of contested data.
Right to Data Portability
Where we process your data based on consent or contract, you have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.

You have the right to object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances, including processing for direct marketing purposes.
Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making
You have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing that significantly affect you. We do not currently use automated decision-making processes.
Lawful Bases for Processing
We process personal data only when we have a lawful basis to do so. The lawful bases we rely on include:
- Consent: You have given clear consent for us to process your personal data for a specific purpose
- Contract: Processing is necessary for a contract we have with you, or because you have asked us to take specific steps before entering into a contract
- Legal obligation: Processing is necessary for us to comply with the law
- Legitimate interests: Processing is necessary for our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of a third party, unless there is a good reason to protect your personal data which overrides those legitimate interests
Data Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk, including:
- Secure storage of personal data
- Access controls limiting who can view personal data
- Regular review of data processing activities
- Staff awareness of data protection obligations
Data Breach Procedures
In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify the Information Commissioner's Office within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach. Where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will also notify you directly.
International Transfers
We do not routinely transfer personal data outside the United Kingdom. If any transfer is necessary, we will ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR requirements.
Exercising Your Rights
To exercise any of your rights under UK GDPR, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to your request within one month. In complex cases, we may extend this period by a further two months, but we will inform you if this is necessary.
We do not charge a fee for handling data protection requests in most cases. However, we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act on a request if it is manifestly unfounded or excessive.
